   The mission of Tuesday's Child is to help parents establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with their children from the earliest stages, and to help children, especially those at risk for failure, to enter school ready to learn. 

 

 

At Tuesday’s Child, parents learn:

  • how to handle temper tantrums, hitting, and sibling fights.
  • how to successfully manage daily routines including mealtimes and bedtimes.
  • how to prepare children for success in school.

At Tuesday’s Child, children learn: 

  • the ability to interact appropriately with others.
  • the ability to focus and concentrate.
  • the ability to recognize limits and follow directions.

 

 

 

Parents and children experience positive change at Tuesday’s Child.

    

 

Our Next Fundraising Event will be at

Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub on Wednesday July 21 from 6-9 P.M.

Join us for a night of drinks, appetizers, Navy Pier fireworks, mini bags tournament, raffles, and more.

Cost is $35 in advance, $40 at the door.

Welcome to Tuesday's Child


 On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff, and families of Tuesday's Child,  welcome  to the Tuesday's Child website and thank you for visiting.  This organization has a proud 29 year history of service to families of young children struggling with behavioral issues.  In 2009 Tuesday's Child served more than 870 parents and children.

As you browse our website please note that we offer a variety of programs to support both children and their parents.  We strive to offer programming that will help families establish and maintain strong relationships, and also help children in need of intervention related to their developmental/behavioral needs.

The Tuesday's Child motto is "A Program for Building Happy Families", and it is with the support of the Board of Directors, staff, donors, families, and friends that Tuesday's Child not only builds happy families, but IS a family comprised of individuals who continually express their passion for our mission and our work in so many positive ways.  Tuesday's Child would not be the organization it is today without all of these wonderful people.
