Interns at Tuesday’s Child will work with supervisors, classroom teachers, and clinical staff to learn child behavioral intervention, therapeutic strategies, and developmental screening. Reporting to the Children’s Program Supervisor, they will receive 1:1 supervision and gain experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and child development.
Undergraduate internships are ideal for those pursuing degrees in psychology, social services, child development, early childhood education, special education, child life, clinical psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related fields. During the school year, interns participate in Saturday behavior intervention groups and additional programming 1-2 days a week. Summer interns work 4 days per week mid-June to mid-August.

Tuesday’s Child serves as a field site for graduate degrees in:
Masters in Early Childhood Education and/or Special Education
Graduate interns receive weekly reflective supervision with our clinical team. They will lead groups and interventions, design social-emotional programs, create individualized goal plans, and develop rapport with parents. Training includes intakes, developmental screenings, educational advocacy, and referrals.
